The License Cataclysm #3

Motto of the day:
To improve is to change. To be perfect is to change often.
Things are improving again. Let me summarize:

-license is doing good. Driving isn't as hard as I had thought it would be.
-planning for Australia is getting more concrete, i actually even have a job offer for Feb.
-I'm expanding my muscial horizon further as I speak, which makes me happy.

On the other side, there is still alot to do. My visa still doesn't seem settled. My flight tickets haven't arrived yet. My old driving tutor still hasn't let my new driving tutor know about how many theory classes I have taken so far, which makes it kind of hard to finish the license.

Bah well. It'll work out.

/me thinks positive

Oh, and seriously, Justing Timberlake created one hell of a bomb with 'My Love'. I can't stop it on my IPod atm....

So long!

Cheers,
Franz

The License Cataclysm #2

Motto of the day:
Been there, done that
I think I am getting back on the track.

I changed my driving school, to finally get to drive and get my license. First driving lesson on Monday 0900 a.m.. We'll see how it goes.

I'm too tired to say much more.

Keep your heads up,

Cheers,
Franz

The License Cataclysm

Motto of the day:
Left to themselves, things tend to go from bad to worse
You finally get up, want to organize your stuff for your driver's license, go to theory classes over weeks, spending alot of time and effort getting to your driving school, because apparently 'it is a good driving school' and 'it has very competent driving instructors' and when you need those 'competent' diving instrctors, you get dumped.

I did do things wrong, because I was misinformed. But seriously, I have it up to here with this fucked up driving school. I called the bureau that apparently has to check my visual test and that sort of things. I get told, I have to give my visual test to either my community which lead it to them, or directly give it to the bureau. What did my 'competent' driving instructor tell me? 'Hand 'em over, I'll take care of it!'. The bureau asks me for all the needed details to check whether they have the stuff, which I gave to my driving instructor about 1 week ago, turns out, they have got nothing so far. When the gus from the bureau asks for the driving school I'm at, I tell him, he laughs and says 'Well, we've had multiple learners get their visual test and stuff lost in the mail due to that driving school.'.

Things to do next:
- Call the driving school to get the tests and those things
- Tell the driving school, that they either let me drive as soon as possible, which could be tomorrow really, or they lose me as a customer
- Start driving in my current or a different driving school, and hope and pray, that I get the chance to finish my driver's license before australia. Because I need it there.

No Cheers today,
I'm pissed,
Franz

Surfing the World Wide Web #4

Motto of the day:
Why is it that, whenever I surf the web, my faith in humanity turns emo?
Let me try to find the beginning of ridiculeness of today's post. I think we start with this:

4-year-old accused of improperly touching teacher. Yes, you did read right. A 4-year-old over in Bellmead in Texas was accused of having improperly touched a teacher, doing so by rubbing his face into the chest of the female employee. How fucking dumb do you have to be, to see any connection to a 'sexual contact' or 'sexual harassment' in that action. A 4 year old can't even SPELL b-o-n-e-r.

Let's move on to this:
Parents nearly trading kids for PS3 consoles. And again, I am serious about what I am saying. This Radio Station in Minnesota announced that they'd give out free PS3 consoles (which only just hit market) to parents, who'd give children to the station for 24 hours. Thing is, it was a hoax. They didn't actually think anyone would call. Turns out, there were hundreds of people who would've done it, even several parents who'd turn in their several day or several week old children. Whoever called there should be jailed and sterilized right away.

Finally, this video:
Shirley Phelps Roper + daughters on The Tyra Banks Show. No comment from my side on this, just watch and enjoy.

So long,

Cheers,
Franz

Addendum

Motto of the day:
Smile . . . tomorrow will be worse.
Do you remember my plans about London? - Good.
Now try and remember what my last Blog-Entry was about. - Correct, about failing plans.

Now try and combine the two.

My plans for New Year's Eve have changed. Most of the people, who wanted to meet up in London, are very unsure whether they can make it. And I can't go ahead and say 'Aight, i'll just wait a few weeks until you know.' because apparently, the longer you wait to book your flights, the more expensive it gets.

Seems like my plans for New Year's Eve are getting drunk again again (aye, 2 agains).

So long,

Cheers,
Franz

Welcome Home #5

Motto of the day:
If everything seems to be going well, you have obviously overlooked something.
Great.
Just plain great.

You sit there, think you have everything under control, and BAM, life moprhes back into the bitch it usually is.

Drivers license before Australia? Hah, good luck with that, you RETARD. For clarification:
In Germany, if you are trying to attain the drivers license, you have to have certain certificates for you to be allowed to do it. Franz, as the idiot I am, thinks 'Hey, no need to rush it, you do some theory classes, make the certificates right before the theory-test, then go start with the practice. The certificates will be approved before I have to do my practice-test.'. Well thought buddy, but you should've wasted a few more thoughts on it, and could've come to the conclusion, that it is better to double-check that, and see if it actually works that way, because in reality, nothing is as simple as you'd want it to be.

Fact is, I just got my certificates, passed em on to my driving instructor, and all he's got to say to it is 'Yeah well, you have accomplished your theory-classes quota, you can lay back for a few weeks, while the certificates get approved, then you can go ahead and do your theory-test. I thought he was joking, but yeah, like i said, life usually is a bitch.

I am going to call the local department and ask them to speed up the whole process for this one time, because I am leaving Germany for a while in January. My hopes are, that some random pencil-pusher will have mercy and actually do something for his money. Wish me luck, I'll need it.

Another thing that went wrong?
Oh yeah, the booking of my flight. I send em my account details, turns out my bank-account is not applicable for direct debiting system. This means more costs and more time invested - and more nerves. Grmbl.

I'm grumpy right now.
Fuck german bureaucracy.

Cheers,
Franz

Germany's Nightlife #3

Motto of that night:
Rock your body at checkpoint 2 / Rock your body, Miccheck 'one - two'
It's always fun to go clubbing with your pals, especially if you ate basically nothing and get vodka-energy for 1,50. Usually not the best combination, but it was reeeeeeally needed that night. Came home at around 4 a.m., nearly starving. First thought:'Hey you are in a rather big city with multiple pizza delivery services of which atleast one has to be open during the night. Heh, life taught me a lesson there. My choice was salami-cheese-toast and a snickers-icecream-sort-of-thing. Meh.

Also, a friend of mine said my outfit that night sucked. Can anyone confirm that please? (The sweater was the problem for her, but I like that sweater =/)

As for my drivers license, I'm |-----| that close to having it in my pocket. Just a little bit of learning here and reading there, and I'm done. W00t.

Next big thing: Australia
Dates are set, I'm leaving on 01-11-07 with China Airlines (I still think that I will regret having made that choice), stopping by in Taipei for several hours, having to protect myself of those nasty mobs of taiwans, then leaving to Brisbane. Can't wait to actually begin this journey.

What else is going on in my life?
New Year's Eve? Well, last years new year's eve was kind of... uhm... let me try to express this without you getting the feeling that I am a complete idiot... *cough* yeah well, it wasn't the best new year's eve I've had in my life. That info has to suffice. This year, there is a slim chance of staying in London with some friends (Greetings to the 2 Kr's, G and A at this place). If it does work out the way we have vaguely planned it, it'll be one hell of a bash. I'll try to take some photos for all of you.

Anyway,
so long.

Cheers,
Franz

Welcome Home #4

Motto of the past weeks:
Right here! Right now!
Yes, it's been a while since I last posted, and alot has happened.

First of all, I'm back to being solo. Me and M agreed, that is not all going as smooth as we would have wanted it to be, and thus seperated. Hey girls, take a look at me, am I not a nice looking boy? And I'm free!

My Visa has passed, which means that I can now travel to Australia anytime I want in the upcoming year for my visa to be activated. then can travel through Australia for 1 year before the Visa expires. Good news isn't it? My search for flights was kind of successful, but DAMN do they cost alot. I am currently aiming at 1200€, which is roughly 300€ more than a month ago, when I last looked (I know I could've booked it then, but my Visa hadn't passed then, so no use in doing so =/ ).

In an hour I am leaving for my driver's license theory class. I am finishing the theory in about 2 weeks, and then another 1-2 weeks for practice, until I am allowed to drive. Good thing is, I don't need a special driver's license to drive in Australia. I have been thinking about maybe buying an old, small car there, and sell it once I'm finished. I'll see what my funds allow.

Lastly, every single one of my bones hurt. We have started to renovate the outside of our garage, and hell that was shitloads of work, and there is more to come. My hands and my back hurt, but hey, I've had more fresh air in the past week than in the 2 months before.

Anyway,
So long,

Cheers,
Franz

Welcome Home #3

Motto of the moment:
Challenge is the space between what is and what can be.
Australia is coming up. I started with sitting down and acquiring all knowledge about my visa that I need, then opened my e-mail program and wrote a mail to my hostparents asking when it would suit them best for me to arrive. The date is set, I will fly around the 12th fo January. This is a good date for several reasons:

- it is post-new year; I get to party with my mates still
- it is the weekend where M's holidays are over, so she will be distracted from me being away
- it suits my hostparents the best
- it is a date I have chosen

I am very excited about finaly having started with my trip-organization. It has taken alot of will to overcome my resistances to actually start thinking about dates and all that. I felt good telling myself 'It is somewhere in the future, no need to think about it' and was afraid of thinking further than 'sometime in 2007'. I don't know why, it just was frightening me.

Other things that are coming up:
- wednesday evening with S; lots of talking involved?
- somewhere in the next weeks: visiting my big bro F in finland
- driver's license?

So long,

Cheers,
Franz

Surfing the World Wide Web #3

Motto of the day:
Faith in humanity has been lost. Somewhere between 'Beware! Fog!'- and 'Baby aboard'-Signs.
Where shall I begin?! Let's see. A teacher gave his english class the assignment to read Fahrenheit 451, a book that is set in an unspecific future, where reading and books in general are banned, and where people who own books or think freely get admitted to mental hospitals and all their books and belongings burned, or immediately killed. So it is a book about the dangers of cencorship, which the pupils were assigned to read.

Diana Verm, one of the 10th graders who had to read this book, decided that she did not want to read the book, because of "the cussing in it and the burning of the Bible", because no other book has that, eh? She got a different reading assignment, but her father went further, and asked to ban the book from her school's curriculum. Let me rephrase:
The father wants to ban a book that deals with the dangers of cencorship.

*waves a a white flag* I give up on my faith for humanity (or America? ... ...?)

On a different side-note. Have you ever seen warning signs on roads, which have 'Beware! Fog!' or anything similar on it? Do you see the mild irony in those? Let me play Mr. Obvious:
There either is Fog, or you can read the sign.
Different story: 'Baby aboard' signs. Do they make you change your mind about the rear-end collision? 'Oh, hun, there is a baby in that car, go crash into the one to the right!'.

Oh well, This is how it goes.
So long,

Cheers,
Franz

Surfing the World Wide Web #2

Motto of the day:
The most useful criticism in any art form is new work done with the same tools.
Pitchforkmedia is a website that features record and hit reviews. They usually post text, explaining what they do and don't like, like any other review-site. But with the new Jets album review, they must've thought that plain text is not enough. So they expressed their opinion with a video (YouTube). The 'reader' has to interprete that by himself, but I think the message isn't hard to understand, huh?

So long,
never kiss monkeys!

Cheers,
Franz

The Journey goes on

Motto of the last hours:
The way to belief is short and easy, the way to knowledge is long and hard.
It took me days and hours of work to find out, that the problem with my Blog-Publishing was my crappy setup of it. I just had to add 2 URLs, 2 Paths and the problems were gone with the wind.

So now I am back up and running with this Blog, and I hope I don't encounter anymore problems anytime soon.

W00t! and \o/!

Cheers,
Franz

Welcome Home #2

Motto of right now:
I-hi feel so alive, for the very first time! I can't deny you! I feel so alive!
In Germany, alot of younger kids go out on windy days and fly kites. I was out in the garden, preparing everythin for getting the grass cut, and I heared some fluttering and flapping sound, which instantly reminded me of my childhood days, out on the Doernberg nearby our hometown, where I and my family would fly kites. I had the afternoon planned for 'Time with M', but nothing specific, so I went and called her, and asked her whether she would be into living up the 'good ol' days', and she said that she would love to.

So her and I brought all our kite-packages together and eventually found a kite which worked, and which looked well enough built to actually still work and went off to fly it. Seriously, we had so much fun doing that, I want to do that again soon. It took me a little time to get into handling it again, but once I was in, I had a very great time. Afterwards we climbed the highest part of the 'mountain', and watched the sun set. Romance ftw!

Other things I did in the last days:
- helped my best chum' Se learn for his maths test on Wednesday (G'luck!)
- looked around the web for a work-visum for Australia (180 AD)
- owned the top 10 in a browsergame called veSports (and got knocked out again because of a rollback)
- completely knocked out my Bio-Rythm AGAIN, going to bed at 5 a.m. ftl!

Anyway, stay tuned!

Cheers,
Franz

Playing the Games #2

Motto of MOHAA:
Realism is good, Save/Load is better.
A friend of mine got me hooked up with Medal of Honor: Allied Assault, a WWII game out of the perspective of an allied infiltrator. The game has rather nice graphics, unbelievably good sound (which I can't hear, because I don't have a working Soundcard (Thanks F .. .. ..)) and is the most fun, when you try to beat it on Hard without getting hit once *drools all over himself*.

When paying MOH:AA, you get a slight feeling of how terrible the landing of the Allies on Omaha Beach in the Normandy must have been. Running from one anti-tank obstacle to the next, covering in hiding, just waiting for the MG fire to hold for a second. Rushing forward, seeing your chummers get slain. Not nice.

Anyway, back to beating Hard difficulty with 100% health ;)

So long.

Cheers,
Franz

Catching up with Business #2

Motto of this chapter:
We aint safe no mo'
This is the second part of catching up with the slacking Updates:

When you are in bed at night, and your door opens a few centimeters, what do you suspect?
When you open the door, take a look around the house, and see nothing, not even a widely opened window, what do you suspect?
When you wake up in the morning, and a window in your house is widely opened, what do you suspect?

Well, once you find the crowbar marks on the window, crowbar marks on the safe, and remember that you heared someone run around the house in doze, you start feeling unsafe (or stop feeling safe?). And this is exactly what happened to me and my family.
I was in my bed at around 2:15a.m., had been on the computer until 30 minutes before, and was listening to rather aggressive, yet quiet music. All of a sudden my door opened for a few centimeters, I heared the door hinge squeak, and got up to see what's wrong. I thought it was my mum, checking if I still sit on the computer, like she sometimes does.
So I stand up, walk towards the door, and hear someone walk away from my room, which makes me even more sure, that it is my mum. I call out for and follow 'her'. When I get to the computer room, I see noone, go back and forth, checkin toilet etc, nobody there. So I wonder, whether I really did hear someone walk away, and finaly give up, telling myself that it was the wind (yeah right).
On the next morning my dad wakes me early with something along the lines of 'Did you open that window in the computer room last night?'. Like I would do that, and litter all stuff that is on the table before the window on the ground. I reply 'No?' and he says 'Well, then we had visitors tonight.'. The expression on my face after that sentence was something very similar to O_o and my eyes must've been saying 'What the Fuck?'.

Anyway, long story short:
Police came, looked for any evidence, found none, appeal against unknown, no further messages. If anything got stole? Well, it was stolen SOMETHING. Okay, take a guess. It was the computer room. What? One of the 2 LCD monitors? Mooop, wrong. The 2 computers? Mooop, wrong. Something valueable? Mooop, wrong.
Those idiots stole a cash box from an animal emergency company, which had 99.5% of Deutsche Mark in it, which is not worth a cent.

gg intelligent robbers!

Anyway,
Stay clean!

Cheers,
Franz

Catching up with Business #1

Motto of this chapter:
Besser arm dran als Arm ab!
Updates have been slacking, I know, but I do have an excuse. On 08-24-06 I had a heavy accident with severe injuries on my right forearm.

I was out with my dog at around 10:45 p.m. and had to cross a construction site from the german railway company. The construction site was not secured, and I thought it wouldnt be too bad. So I walked over it in the dark, tripped and fell, and landed with my right arm on the sharp edge of a metal-plate, and had it cut open from my wrist to my elbow. It was a deep cut, a sinew was torn and I was missing a good portion of skin on my forearm. The doctors fixed me up with Transplants of sinews and skin, and I had to stay in the hospital for 7 days.
Since then I've been wearing heavy bandages and gypsum on my right arm, which made typing and handling the mouse quite hard. And that is, why I could barely write any updates. The bandages and the gypsum are gone, and I am recovering rather fastish.

I have 2 pictures of my forearm, but you should only take a look, if you can handle it. It does look yuc:

The place, where the heavy injuries are, around 60 stings were needed to fix it.
The place, where the skin for the transplantation was taken from. It is infected now.

Now that I got rid of the gypsum and the bandages, I will try to bring the news that happened during the period of time when I couldn't write.

So long.
Take care.
Don't take your dog for a walk, if it's dark outside.

Cheers,
Franz

Welcome Home #1

Motto of the past days:
Life is a bitch, and by life I mean parents.
My Bio-Rythm is utterly fucked up right now. I go to bed at 3-5 a.m. and wake up from 8:30 a.m. on ever hour or so, and keep telling myself 'C'mon, you gotta get up!' and in the end I find myself waking up again an hour later, until around Noon. *Thumbs up*

My mother was away on the weekend, and she brought 2 little kitties with her out of the blue. More of those in a later post, with pictures, of course.

For finishing school and getting my high school graduation, my grandparents gave me a rather big amount of money for my future live. I am supposed to use it on driver's license (Which I started on Monday, \o\ |o| /o/) and the like. Now my brother needed money, and I gave him quite alot, and he asured, that he'd give it back as soon as he could. But my mother kept bugging me to bring the money (cash) to the bank, for interest and generally 'so it doesn't get stolen, if someone breaks into our house'. Yeah right. She wanted to be present when I pay it in, and that just wouldn't work, because then I'd have to tell her, where the missing money went. So I had a fight with her about what's mine, and what not. *rolleyes*

F if you read this, I need my money OLOLOL.

Now, can you believe that you only just finished school, and your parents go ahead and cut your pocket-money, because apparently you can 'go get yourself a job'. Fuck that. Anyway, my parents tried, but now I have a deal with them, saying that if I cook their meals while they work, I can still have the pocket-money. Didn't tell them that I intend to get a job anyway. Tough luck for them I guess, they asked it from me. Ha-ha. My first meal was Königsberger Klopse on Tuesday. One of my favorite meals, and I only cook stuff that I like now, of course. If anyone wants a recipe, I'll post one later.

Driver's license is on, like I said. More info when I progress.

So long.

Cheers,
Franz

Surfing the World Wide Web #2

Motto of tonight:
Flirting is like a game of playing with fire where no one gets hurt
I've been surfing alot again lately, and found a nice site with pick-up lines. Here are a few of my favorites:

Screw me if I am wrong, but haven't we met before?
Is it the sugar in my eyes or are you really that sweet?
Be unique and different, just say yes.
Got two nipples for a dime?
If I could rearrange the alphabet, I'd put U and I together.
Do you want to see something swell?
If you think Chewbacca is hairy, wait till you see my Wookie.
Why you've got the whitest teeth I'd ever want to cum across!
If I could rearrange the alphabet, I'd put you between F and CK
Hi. I'm an astronaut, and my next mission is to explore Uranus.
Excuse me, but does this smell like chloroform to you?
Uh, do you like come here often, huh huh. I said "come."

I'd be pleased to hear any funny ones you come across.

So long!

Cheers,
Franz

Playing the Games #1

Motto of speedrunning:
Speedrunning is like getting laid, now don't ask me what I mean by saying that
Damn have I had alot of fun in the past days. I restumbled upon a website called SDA (Speed Demos Archive), which is basically a place where gamers meet to beat games in the fastest way possible. I, as a big gaming fan, have had several tries of 'running' games, but never really intended to finish them. But when I looked at the Games Overview of that page I saw that there was still no Command & Conquer 4: Red Alert 2 run - one of my (if not the) favorite games ever.

So I decided to enter the forums and ask whether there was any interest in such a run, and quickly found a nice pal called TheVoid who was gonna help me as competitor improve routes/paths/times. Big thanks to TheVoid at this place. We are still running and running, only having 5 missions (of 25 I think) complete, and we are getting better, and better and better. Check out this thread if you are interested in videos/tactics/times.

M is away for a week, I guess I have time to finish the CNC run. Yay.

Getting hooked up with a driver's license in the next few weeks. Wish me and the pedestrians luck.

So long.

Franz

Surfing the World Wide Web #1

Motto of the future:
Folding T-Shirts is fun
As I was surfing through the web today, I found some very very very very cool videos. Picture this:

You were out in holidays, had half your closet emptied and washed, and now need to fold every t-shirt of yours 1 by 1. This consumes alot of time, and in the end (if you are male) half of them (atleast) have to be re-folded. Now, Here is your relief:

Male way
Female way

Enjoy!

Franz

Recovery

Motto of right now:
Thank god for the invention of Matchsticks
On Wednesday I met Mi aka 'toejuice'. He is an australian Revelation player, which I have known for several years now. We went to watch The Sentinel - great movie, I liked it alot - in english, and had a go at Germany's Nightlife in the nightclub MusikTheater later on. I came back home at around 4 a.m. and basically just fell into bed and slept until 2 p.m. of Thursday. I was spent.

Later that day, I had planned to meet up with M, we are a couple afterall, but I was so tired that I called her, saying that I would not come anymore, that day, because I was just way too tired. I was being concise, which was kind of a big fault. She misinterpreted my whole purpose, and thought I was not being honest, and it was all my own fault, meh.

Past days kind of drained my energy. Should try "Hallo wach" pills...

So long.

Cheers,
Franz

Germany's Nightlife #2

Motto of last night:
Just keep swimming. Just keep swimming. Just keep swimming, swimming, swimming. What do we do? We swim, swim, swim
Daaaaaamn, Spot was awesome. Silly me forgot his DigiCam, but I still had a nice evening out with my schoolmates. Some major flirting going on, mediocre amounts of beer, and a good swim to finish things off.

Breaking into a public swimming pool isn't exactly an everyday thing, but I'm getting good at it. Although I will chose a warmer day for it, next time. Swimming at ~13 C isn't exactly the best idea ever. Me, Jo and Al went to the Harleshausener public pool and enjoyed ourselves there. Not many people around at 3:20 a.m., hehe.

Now off to bed.

Cheers,
Franz

Holidays, Chapter #3: Lake Constance

Motto of Lake Constance:
God save my queen
Me and M (Picture to the right) just returned from Lake Constance. We had an awesome time staying there, even though the weather was as bad as I suspected it to be. On the way there we took a stop in the wonderful city of Tübingen, and went to see Lindau, Konstanz and Mersburg. Beautiful part of Germany, but their camping sites really need improving. It was very noisy, and you had barely any privacy, because anyone was basically sitting on each other.

The camping itself was a bit of a nightmare. Rain, rain and some more rain, and our tent wasn't water-proof at all. We tried buying impregnating spray, but that sort of made it even worse. We ended up getting all our clothes clammy, and sleeping in damp sleeping-bags. \o/ for god's kind of humour.

I promised you to get an updated picture of my gf, here you go, enjoy:

Now I'm off to the spot nightclub with a few former schoolmates. I think I'll provide some pictures of them, tomorrow. Thank god for the invention of Digital Cameras.

Until then.

Cheers,
Franz

Holidays, Chapter #2.5: Interlude

Motto of the day:
Never let the fear of striking out keep you from playing the game
Ugh, coming back home from France has something like jumping into the pool after laying in the sun for hours, or like driving in a car that has been parked in the sun for hours, just upside down. Let's compare:

France:
- 45 C
- sun
- dry
- silent

Germany:
- 17 C
- cloudy
- rainy
- loud

The Deutsche Bahn has started revamping our local railway and the rails to the next 2 big cities, in order to enhance the connectivity between the 2. They removed all rails, the grit that was below it, and anything related to the 'old' rails, and are now working their ass off to rebuild them in an enhanced way. Tough luck, that I live right next to it, and the railway workers start working at 6 in the morning, with all those big bad machines they brought here. Sleeping until after 6 a.m. is a pain.

I'm currently doing the laundry in order to pack things for Lake Constance. www.wetter.de says that it will be even more rainy and stormy, than it is here in Hesse already, and we have plant to camp there. \o/ for water-impermeable tents and even more to read! And \o/ for lots of <3 from M.

Last night I had a very interesting and delighting conversation with J. She is doing good (again). Haven't had time to reach either S or M-D, but I guess I will call S up before leaving to M's house later tonight. Gotta stay in touch, eh?

Addendum, Wed 08-02-06, 2:57 p.m.:
J, if you read this:
Heads up, you are not the Joker Jester in this play!

Addendum, Wed 08-02-06, 6:19 p.m.:
Lake Constance is right ahead!
I will come back with new updates once I return from this great event.

So long.

Holidays, Chapter #2: France

Motto of France:
If you can't handle the heat, don't jump in the fire.
France was, let's say, uhm, complicated? My Mum and my Dad have silver wedding this year, and their wish for this years holidays was, that all children come down to France with them, to finaly, after more than 18 years with 4 children, have holidays with the whole family unified. It merely worked.

When I and my bigger brother F arrived, my sister L was gone already, and my other brother A had had a vast-ish fight with my dad, which made him act all spiteful. I and my dad have had a long story of little fights, which continued through the whole 'France vacation', that gave it a rather bitter taste. A left only 2 days after me and F arrived, to work on a book about current modern artists in Duisburg. F left only few days after, and finaly I drove homeward with my parents, where I arrived only 2 hours ago.

The vacation itself was good. Lots of sun, lots of beautiful women and lots to read. In the last 2 days I was constantly laying at the pool, occasionally jumping in the water, to cool my hawt body. In those 2 days I managed to get such a bad sunburn, that my skin started peeling. The biggest damage was done to my tighs and my belly. I had to control my grief when dressing with boxers and shorts. To make matters worse, the sunburn was not only on the frontside, but also on my backside. This means, I had big trouble (Initially a song is popping into my mind: big big trouble by die happy), finding a position to sleep, where I would not cry in pain.

Oh well, I guess I managed, and now I am back home for 1 day, to recover, make the laundry and survive the sunburn side effects. On Thursday I am leaving to Lake Constance with M, my beautiful and most loving girlfriend. I'll supply an up-to-date picture, once I come back from there.

Good fight, good night.

Cheers,
Franz

Holidays, Chapter #1: KiSiWo

Motto of the KiSiWo:
5-minute soup tureens are teh 1337
This will cover my first little chapter of the 'big' holidays.

I was away to the so-called KiSiWo, a summer camp for children who like to sing, which is organized by the Kirchdittmold community. I act as a caretaker for the children since 6 years now, and have alot of fun doing it. I was with 2 friends of mine, S and Ma (no, not Sado and Maso, althought I tend to not dislike them), with whom I always share a room. This time we had a good supply of 5-minute soup tureens with us, which are featuring this post. Had a real good time there.

A little resume I told a friend of mine who asked about KiSiWo:
- 1 week of complete ignorance towards people in charge.
- 1 week of being hassled by 60 children.
- 1 love letter by a 14 y/o.
- 1 person who - no idea how - gets my cellphone number, and hands it around to all other 14 y/o girls who now hassle me every minute of my day.
- uncountable amounts of 5-minute soup tureens.

So long.

Cheers,
Franz

Holidays \o/

Motto of today:
Tonight is the Night
Just returned from S's house, after one hell of a night. We went to the local Metal-disco, like I mentioned in the post before, and we basically sat around the whole evening, until around 2:30 a.m., when we went to dance. The music wasn't my type'o'music at all, until they started playing SOAD, where I started headbanging. Boy, I should have not done that. My neck is hurting like a bitch.

Later tonight I'll leave for M's house. We will go to a thermal spring and enjoy ourselves there. Sauna, hot saltwater basins and the like. Leaving for vacation tomorrow, after spending the night at M's place, so the next 2 weeks will be updateless, sorry.

Cheers,
Franz

Germany's Nightlife

Motto of tonight:
My penis is having the best week ever

Seriously, I'm 18 now, legal to stay in any nightclub in Germany for as long as I please, and I haven't been out clubbing for ages. So obviously, it's time for this again.

I hooked up 2 female friends of mine (beautiful friends I might say) to come to the local Rock/Metal club with me. M-D to the left will bring a few New York exchange students along, which are very interested in checking out the german nightlife. S to the right is my best friend, and I can't say that I never had a crush on her, because she is just plain beautiful. We will see how it goes.

Vacation soon. gg

Cheers,
Franz
